This is one of the songs I wrote during the pandemic lock-down. It was originally just an acoustic number but my friend and I, on his suggestion, turned into a real rocker. And don’t read into the lyrics, it’s just something that came to me.
As it says on the recording it was our fifth take at recording before we got a version we liked. We then dubbed the bass and the electric guitar over that, after playing the lead I wasn’t to happy with it, but when I listened to it, it liked it.
It’s not perfect, and we have tried to record it since then, but can’t get the energy we had that first night.
